1. What is Hacknovation 2024? Hacknovation 2024, organized by Amity University in Tashkent in partnership with the IT Community of Uzbekistan, is a two-day hackathon that encourages participants to innovate and solve pressing challenges in the technological landscape.

2. Who can participate in Hacknovation 2024? The event is open to both students and professionals who can form teams of up to five members, including at least one female member, and optionally a faculty mentor from their parent institute.

3. What are the requirements for forming a team? Each team should have no more than five members with at least one female member. Teams may include one faculty mentor from their parent institute, and team members cannot be part of multiple teams.

4. How do we register for the event? Teams can register by submitting their team details and selecting the most appropriate problem statement from the provided themes. Detailed registration instructions are available on the official Hacknovation website.

5. What are the themes for this year's hackathon? The specific themes for Hacknovation 2024 will be provided during the registration phase, encouraging teams to prepare structured idea documents for their chosen problem statements.

6. How is the competition structured? The competition is divided into two main phases:

• Day 1: Idea Presentation - Teams will present their ideas, focusing on innovation, feasibility, and impact. Teams must score at least 70 points to advance.
• Day 2: Project Implementation - Qualified teams will develop a working prototype, focusing on execution, technical complexity, and usability.

7. What happens if we don't advance to Day 2? Teams that do not meet the Day 1 threshold are encouraged to observe Day 2 to learn and gain insights from other teams and the feedback provided.

8. What resources are available to participants? Qualified teams will have access to mentorship, workshops, and tools to aid in the development of their prototypes. Organizers and technical experts will also be available for guidance.

9. How are projects evaluated? Projects are evaluated based on criteria such as innovation, feasibility, impact, and presentation quality. Each criterion has a specific point value contributing to a total score out of 100.

10. Are there any rules regarding intellectual property? Yes, all intellectual property generated during Hacknovation 2024 will be managed according to the event’s IP policy, which will be detailed at registration.

11. Can the team member number exceed 5? Each team must consist of up to 5 members, including at least one female member (mandatory).

12. Should all members of the team participate offline in both days? Online participation is not allowed.
